Morning Ritual

My morning ritual has a pattern, a flow.  It is the same each day: Rise early and head to the kitchen to make the coffee.

I prefer my daily cup to be made in a french press.  I purchased a Bodum French Press from Amazon years ago and have never looked back!  You cannot bear the quality and smoothness of  a cup of coffee made in a french press. Sometimes I add a touch of cinnamon for that Christmas morning aroma. It truly is the most important ritual and sets the tine for the rest of the day.

Ritual number two: Check emails and read through any important news of the day.  Of course the TV has been turned on announce the weather pattern for the day.  Without which I could never move on to the next important ritual of the day:

Dressing the Part.  I play a part every day-except on weekends where I just play and breathe.  It is important to know your part and to play it consistently each day.  Parts can change over time. In the past, my parts have been, Recruiter, Manager, Representative. Ive played these parts in a variety of industries: Heath care, Technology, Luxury.  Ive enjoyed my parts.  All of my parts have required specific elements; Authenticity, Credibility, Character, Professionalism, Engagement.  How could they not?  They all involved People.  Dressing the part has less to do with hair and makeup and the perfect suit and more about the total package you present to the world.  In many cases I am the first person people meet or hear.  I am my own brand ambassador first, the company and people I represent, a close second. I must take on this role with complete authenticity. Always remembering the golden rule of the three C's: Character, Competence and Consistency.

Stay tuned for more......
